Gal Eid
Yaakov secretly leaves Lavan’s house to go back home, but Lavan comes chasing after him. Lavan accuses Yaakov of stealing his avodah zara, but he doesn’t find them among Yaakov’s things. So Yaakov and Lavan build a mound of rocks and call it “Gal-Eid.” They promise each other that they will never cross it to hurt each other – and that Gal-Eid will be a witness to their promise.
